Any one bringing Birds or selling Birds into Georgia must know this
AT THIS TIME WE DO NOT HAVE A VET ATTENDING THIS EVENT SO YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN HEALTH CERTIFICATE WITH YOU FOR YOUR BIRDS

If you are sell Birds you must apply for a Georgia license which is $200 for out of state breeders. It is good for 1 year.

Even though one has a Georgia license, one still must call Dept. of Ag., Avian Div. and get an "entry permit". Their number is 404-656-4914, fax:404-463-8195

You must tell them who you are, where you're going, and how many birds you are bringing into the state. They will give you an entry permit number. You will need to give this to the vet to put on your health certificate. You also have to turn in a report of all birds that are sold at the Event. There is no charge for the entry permit. That information lets the inspector know who to look for at the Expo.

Get a health certificate from a veterinarian. Either your own Veterinarian or the one at the Expo.
You must display both license and health certificate. The inspector will come around, usually Saturday morning and check on everone to make sure you have all the documents.

If you just bring your pet bird, but have no birds for sale, you will still need to get an entry permit and health certificate every time you come into the State of Georgia.

open to Vendors 6 am Saturdays
open to the public 9 am till 5 pm Saturdays
open to Vendors 9 am Sundays
open to the public 10 am till 4 pm Sundays
